Applied Trauma First Aid w/ Live Fire

ATLS was not designed to be used in the combat environment. Good Medicine can be bad tactics. Day One is a review of the Basic TCCC in a classroom setting. Day Two is conducted on the range with live fire exercises and drills. Students will have the option to shoot during these drills, or to just participate in the medical procedures. These drills will include treating and stabilizing a patient with an active shooter. This class is hands on and is taught by a SOCOM Medic or 18D utilizing current USSOCOM guidelines for Trauma Combat Casualty Care (TCCC).
